In celebration of the Feast Day of St. Dominic de Guzman, the founder of the Order of Preachers, we are pleased to announce that there will be NO WORK at the University of Santo Tomas-Legazpi on August 7-8, 2023 (Monday-Tuesday).
This two-day observance for this year is an opportunity for all members of our UST-Legazpi community to reflect on the values and teachings of our Father Dominic.
Let us celebrate the Feast Day of St. Dominic de Guzman with reverence and joy, cherishing the value of this long weekend to pause and relish our Dominican spirituality.
Furthermore, in view of the first day of classes on August 9, 2023 (Wednesday), we enjoin the Legazpi Thomasian workforce in finalizing our “Back-to-School” preparations on August 3-4, 2023 (Thursday and Friday).
