The Office of Media, Alumni, and Public Affairs (MAPA) conducted another placement activity called Pabalon: A Comprehensive Guide to Career and Employment for graduating tertiary students of the University of Santo Tomas-Legazpi (UST-Legazpi) on September24, 2019, at the Daragang Magayon Hall (DMH).The Office of Media, Alumni, and Public Affairs (MAPA) conducted another placement activity called Pabalon: A Comprehensive Guide to Career and Employment for graduating tertiary students of the University of Santo Tomas-Legazpi (UST-Legazpi) on September24, 2019, at the Daragang Magayon Hall (DMH). Pabalon aims to achieve the following: to address unemployment and underemployment problems by preparing students to the world of work; b) to immerse the students in simulated workplace activities and projects that would challenge them to apply their knowledge and competencies acquired and developed in the classroom; c) to provide latest and relevant information on communication techniques, computer, facilities, interview practices, job-hunting strategies, labor law, etc, and; to instill entrepreneurial skills in order to expand the opportunities for students to be his or her own boss and help in creating more jobs.
