DIRECTOR – MEDIA, ALUMNI, AND PUBLIC AFFAIRS

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Implements the operational programs, policies, systems, and procedures, of the Office of Media, Alumni, and Public Affairs
  • Strengthens linkages with public and private organizations for funding and external relations
  • Manages the lay-outing and publication of the university newsletters, yearbook, and alumni directory
  • Ascertains the admission and enrolment of new students  in coordination with the academic departments
  • Prepares and implements projects and activities of the alumni association activities
  • Coordinates with the academic departments and partner agencies for deployment and placement of students

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a Master’s Degree in Management or in Communication
  • Must have at least 3 years supervisory or administrative work in Marketing and Communication

DIRECTOR – OFFICE OF GUIDANCE AND TESTING

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Manages the overall operations of the Guidance and Testing:
    • Recommends the appointment, promotion, termination, and other movements of personnel under the office;
    • Oversees the proper use, maintenance, control, safekeeping, and inventory of department’s property, supplies and equipment;
    • Prepares and requests the operation budget of the office
    • Exercise the operational and administrative supervision over subordinate units;
    • Develops new systems and procedures for the improvement of office operations;
    • Submits required reports
    • Supervise the work of all personnel within the office
    • Conducts meetings with the personnel in the office
  • Formulates a comprehensive strategic plan for the Office of Guidance and Testing
  • Implements the operational programs, policies, systems and procedure of the Office of Guidance and Testing
  • Engages in community involvement and conducts research on effective administration of the guidance programs towards organizational development
  • Exercises primary disciplinary authority on the personnel of the office
  • Oversees the testing services for employees and students
  • Develops guidance and counselling programs for employees and students
  • Ensures the implementation of the guidance programs
  • Supervises the updating of the student profile in the University Management System (UMS)
  • Coordinates with the Office Media, Alumni, and Public Affairs, and the Office of the University Registrar  for admission and marketing concerns
  • Performs all other functions related to the foregoing as may be assigned or delegated to him/her by the immediate supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • With Master’s Degree in Guidance and Counselling or Psychology
  • 3 years of supervisory or administrative work in Guidance or Testing
  • Appropriate license
